Organic Bordeaux with Character: Our Selection
Leading wine critics repeatedly advise their readers to seek out wines that rival those costing much more.
Château Le Pin Beausoleil is such a wine. Deep red to black, elegant, very refined, and yet well-structured thanks to firm yet soft tannins. The texture is supple, velvety, almost creamy.
On the palate it offers a complex aroma, which can vary slightly from vintage to vintage, but contains typical elements of the terroir with dark berries, chocolate, a hint of licorice and pepper, and a cool minerality.
A great, ageing wine that reaches its peak between 5 and 20 years, depending on the vintage.
