The Bordeaux viticulture campaign in January and February 2025 was a testament to the resilience and expertise of the region's winemakers. These months mark the crucial phase of pruning and thinning the vines, carefully shaping the dormant vines to ensure a productive growing season. However, this year, the task was complicated by partly challenging weather conditions.

Bordeaux experienced temperature fluctuations, local frosts, and heavy rainfall. These conditions required particular vigilance from the vineyard workers, as they had to strike a delicate balance between protecting the vines and preparing them for the upcoming season. Despite the obstacles, we adapted our pruning plans and techniques to mitigate the impact of the bad weather. In this way, we were able to complete the pruning work last week.
This early commitment underscores our dedication to maintaining the high standards for which Château Le Pin Beausoleil is renowned. As the vines awaken in the coming months, the preparatory work of this challenging winter will play a decisive role in the quality of the 2025 vintage. We can only hope that 2025 will spare us extreme weather conditions in the coming months. In any case, we are ready to face any challenge that comes our way.
Positive feedback for our 2022 vintage

Antonio Galloni, the renowned wine critic, recently shared a photo of Château Le Pin Beausoleil – our jewel in Bordeaux – on Instagram when he announced his review of the 2022 vintage.
Galloni, known for his refined taste and eloquent reviews, praised the 2022 vintage:
“The 2022 Le Pin Beausoleil is elegant, refined, and beautifully graceful from start to finish. Crushed rose petals, mint, orange peel, and mint give the bouquet an exotic character. Silky and vibrant on the palate, with beautiful transparency – the 2022 is sublime. The finish is slightly firmer, but that will disappear with some time in bottle. Le Pin Beausoleil seems to be developing towards a style that is fresher and more vibrant than before.” (Antonio Galloni, January 2025. Rating: 93).
Galloni's Instagram post has not only drawn attention to our winery. For us, it also highlights the growing influence of social media in the wine world. We hope that our presence on Instagram will inspire wine lovers to discover the offerings of Château Le Pin Beausoleil – a true testament to the art of winemaking in Bordeaux.
